Check out Pistachio-Walnut Sourdough Bread on SallyBR's blog. The photos are awesome!

Sally's photos always make me think about baking again. And she does it with a toaster oven! That

oven was named the best toaster oven in a Cook's Illustrated ratings test, btw. Pricey, but seems as though it's worth it.

Thanks so much, you've made my day!

Yes, I've been putting my toaster oven through a marathon with the sourdough baking, but by making slightly smaller loaves and being able to cover them it's working pretty well

Breville oven is a little more expensive than other models, but I am very happy with it, we've had it for over 2 years now.

I really like the flag counter on the bottom right to show who's viewed your site smileys/smile.gif

I love that feature too....

.... I saw it in a few blogs I visit, and decided to get for mine.

I normally prefer to keep "extra" stuff to a minimum, but the flag counter was too hard to resist. Some counters allow you to see who logged in (in real time), where they are from, but I thought that maybe some people would not like to have their arrivals to the site made so evident. I opted for just a regular flag counter instead.

Sally, very impressive! I am still intimidated with bread making. Tried a few times, but yeast

still scared me! Your bread Looks wonderful!!!

Barb, I cannot bake a genoise if my life was on the line...

.... I swear, just reading a genoise cake recipe makes my hands start to sweat, and my heart to beat very fast.

cakes and me are NOT a good match!
