My rule of thumb is when an item starts knocking from the INSIDE to be let out . . . you let it go.

You do have to take it with a grain of salt....ketchup for example >

They say an opened bottle is good for 6 months! HUH?! Who can even use a whole bottle in 6 months, unless you have a bunch of kids and make a lot of hamburgers? I hate to think of how old mine is!
