It was kind of chaotic. Two very young Mennonite sisters did the class and it was their first one. The set-up in the back area of the hipster hardware store could have been arranged better-too many people working at a single long table against a wall. About the time we turned on the 5th induction burner we flipped the breaker & they had to run another extension cord. We made feta, mozzarella & cheddar. We all brought home mozzarella we made & cheddar they made. Too bad neither the sisters or the hardware store thought to offer some little packets of culture & rennet for sale because I'm sure all of us wanted to come home & make more but will have to order supplies.
They brought a bunch of their cheeses & set up a nice little tasting with crackers, berries, olives & tomatoes. I really liked their dill/garlic Neufchatel. We can order their Jersey/Swiss raw milk, cheeses, butter, yogurt etc.through a local co-op if we want
