we're keeping this recipe.
A few tweaks:
In an effort to use stuff up, I'm adding cake flour whenever I can. Used 1.5 cups of regular flour plus 1/2 c of cake flour instead of 2 cups of regular flour.
I had 6 tablespoons of butter left and they all went in, instead of 5 specified.
I cut them into squares because I was taking them to the library. It would have been ugly to watch sugar-low librarians fight over 8 scones.
The only thing I would comment on: I used your suggestion to add mini-chips, but I also mixed my dough in a food processor. DON'T add the chips using the processor. They jam up under the blade and crumble, dirtying the dough. Just knead those in by hand.
I ended up with 18 2" squares. 4 very tasty, poofy delicious WW points per square.
