Chemical leavener needed per cup of flour

For nonacidic recipes:

1 c flour 1 to 1-1/4 tsp baking powder

for very acidic recipes:

1 c flour 1/2 tsp baking powder AND 1/8

tsp baking soda

Note: Baked goods with a lot of heavy ingredients, like carrot cake, may need a tiny bit more leaveninig).
