Cherry Bowl Punch with Rosemary and Champagne (Kirsch-Bowle mit Rosmarin und Sekt)

Ingredients for 6-8 persons:

750g pitted cherries

150 ml vodka

500 ml cherry juice**

4-5 small stalks rosemary

2 bottles (0.75 l) Champagne

Combine vodka, cherries and cherry juice in a punch bowl, let stand for about 1 hour. Wash rosemary, pat dry and, after 30 minutes, add to the cherries.

Float an ice block in the punch bowl.

Before serving, fill with champagne.

For 8 persons:

Preparation time 15 minutes.

** If you use Trader Joe's unsweetened Cherry Juice, add: 1 cup sugar to the punchbowl with the cherries.
