That's all I got, and wpondered if anyone had any baking ideas. I was thinking of rolling the breasts in mayo then in the soup mix. I was thinking that might not dry them out too much. I used to be a gourmet cook, but now I come home and camp a few days and hit the road for a few weeks.

That would be great, thank you for

answering. I think i'm going to do that. I can dry out some bread, white bread, store brand. No panko here in the swamp. I don't live here much anymore, so my supplies are down. I think just the soup mix might be too strong. If I had some cream cheese, I'd stuff the breasts.

Kendall, put these few ingredients in the cupboard and perishables in the freezer and you will have a truly great chicken dish whenever you get to get home in minutes. It's amazingly good.
T&T, delicious and stupidly simple!

4 chicken breast halves
salt & pepper
garlic salt
fresh bread crumbs or dried
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
Cheddar Cheese, grated

Sprinkle chicken with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Dredge in breadcrumbs and place in baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Place blobs of soup on top of each piece of chicken using the can for 4 pieces. Bake in 350* oven for about 30 to 35 minutes. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of each chicken piece and bake until melted and chicken is done.

I had all that, but not your recipe in time, thank you, here's what I did..

Dangit Girl, I'll do that next time. I had 3 slightly large boneless chicken breasts. I found some commercial parmesan cheese in the freezer. I dried 3 white bread slices, and crumbed them up, added 1 package lipton onion soup mix, and 1/2 cup of cruddy commercial parmesan cheese. I rolled them in mayo, and then stuck the crumbs to them well, they are baking @ 350 degrees on a slightly greased pizza pan, I will turn them in 20 minutes, and bake them 20 more on the other side. I never would have believe I would have been Semi Homade's best fan. I roll in a day, rest, work lots of hours, and roll out again in 2 or so days. I think they'll be just fine.
