CHICKEN CRESCENT ALMONDINE

* 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted

* 2/3 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing

* 1/2 c. sour cream

* 2 tbsp. instant minced onion

* 3 c. cooked, cubed chicken

* 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced

* 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained

* 1/2 c. chopped celery

* 1 (8 oz.) can crescent dinner rolls

* TOPPING:

* 2/3 c. shredded Swiss or American cheese

* 1/2 c. slivered almonds

* 2 tbsp. melted butter

InstructionsInstructions 1. In large saucepan, combine soup, mayonnaise, sour cream and onion.

2. Stir in chicken, water chestnuts, mushrooms and celery; cook over medium heat until mixture is hot and bubbly.

3. Pour into ungreased 13 inch x 9 inch x 2 inch baking dish.

4. Unroll crescent dough and separate into two rectangles, trimming to fit dish.

5. Place dough rectangles over hot chicken mixture.

6.Combine cheese and almonds; sprinkle over the dough.

7. Drizzle with butter.

8. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until crust is a deep golden brown.

Marianne, it's a dead givaway when someone's first post leads straight to a commercial website.

You can see the number of posts right under the person's name when you open a post.

You can also do a search on their username. In this case there were two posts--one in T&T--both leading to the same site.

So I sent Mimi a quick PM alerting her to the spamming. I also posted "Reported" so that others will know, and Mimi won't be inundated with PM's about it.

Most newcomers start off by asking a question or responding to one, not posting links right off the bat, so the spammers are easy to spot.
