Will be heading out to Vancouver starting out tomorrow and we are looking for a recommendation for a Chinese restaurant.

Is there still Canadian Chinese restaurants that haven't been Americanized?

Chinese food in YVR is outstanding, real, genuine. I probably can't get names quickly enough tho.

But this should be a very trustworthy source.

And I notice that Tony Restaurant comes up high in a few sources. Who doesn't love dim sum?????????????

I would say that restaurants there are on a par with San Fran, NY and Toronto. The Chinese population is ENORMOUS. You'll see.

I wish there was the original Chx chow mein, but times have changed and I guess so has tastes

I don't live,there any more so its not like I can check off each chinese restaurant I go to until I find the one that still makes it the old fashion way.
We are talking about the late 50s thru the 60s.
