I must admit, it's not my recipe. I grabbed it from Christmas-cookies.com (thanks Mimi).
I made them yesterday, for a cookie exchange I'm running in NZ. I was a bit silly, I started baking those and another batch (coffee hazelnuts crescents) at about 3:30pm. Realised I'd forgotten ingredients at the store (doh). Did a double batch of the shortbreads, taking photos of the step by step as I was going along. By the time everything was ready, it was time to have dinner.
I ended up baking the crescents 'till midnight! Am an idiot smileys/smile.gif
Anyway, here's the shot of the shortbread. They were very yumm. I should have made more to keep!
