Chorizo spiced pulled pork sandwiches topped with elotes slaw. OMG, they llok like heaven

That Pulled Pork looks Fabulous! This..

certainly has my name all over it. Look at that list of ingredients!!! And the slaw, yes! Printed and magneted onto the fridge so that I don't lose this one. I have a big gathering in March that these will be perfect for. Thanks!

This sounds fabulous. Wish I could find a good bun that would stand up well to the pulled pork

sandwiches. I like them on the softer side but I hate when they fall apart. I always toast the inside a little.

In the South we just use the "dollar supermarket buns". We also don't put sauce on

the meat (which would also work with this recipe) until serving so it isn't over sauced.
Brioche buns would be a good choice maybe for yours. ;o)

I usually buy the Telera Buns of Bolillo Rolls at one of the grocers. They make them in the store

and I love them. Not sure if I have tried the Telera Buns for the pulled pork, but have used the Bolillo Rolls.

Do you have pretzel buns out west or is that a midwest thing?

They are quite sturdy and very tasty. Like a giant soft Bavarian pretzel, but shaped like a bun.

Agree with finding a good bun for something like this. If I need a good solid sandwich bun I usually make my own.
