Christmas dinner started with Roast Beet and Pomegranate Soup with Spiced Apple-mint Crema

HAHA! That's what hubby and SS do to me.
I'll be taking pictures of the food and I hear "oh, man, she's at it again! We're never going to eat at this rate."

Michael, how was the soup? I know you're not a beet lover....and I haven't had
a chance to try that recipe yet. Would love to hear your thoughts. Did you try it warm and chilled? I wonder if that would impact the flavors at all.
And I see you tried that dessert. Did you try it strait out of the freezer or let it come up to room temperature? I served mine at room temp (maybe slightly more chilled than that) and thought it was fab. A big chocolate wallop!
