Any ideas for a fun cocktail? Research has gotten me nowhere...what pops up with a google search is not very appealing.

Thanks for any thoughts!

Thank you all!!!

I was also thinking of something with gin...using Bombay...

I think I'll see if I can find some Pimm's...I found a pretty presentation with lots of lemons, oranges and mint in the pitcher.

Rosie, I'll do a search for chai drinks...good idea!

Thank you!

Definitely G&Ts! That's why they were invented...

the old Mary Poppins "spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down"...

In this case, a jigger of gin and a splash of lime helped the quinine go down for malaria prevention.

Thus was born the Gin and Tonic in the British Raj.

I have looked at this many times. love how you rate the books. bookclub tonight.

We read Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. It's set in Seattle and very good. The first chapter was tough for me to get through(sad memories), but it's a fast read and touching. I haven't actually finished it yet, but this weekend.

Thank you both!

Ang, I read that last summer...nice book.

Any favorites, Deb?

We pick out a few more selections at our Oct. meeting.

I just listened to this and wondered how accurately it described the class difference.

And his family life and the responsibilities to everyone.
