How crazy that we hadn't thought to do it before - we don't live very far from one another.

She is absolutely delightful and one of the most thoughtful people I've ever encountered. We met for lunch and I don't think we ever really talked about what brought us together in the first place - food. That's because we found out we had a heck of a lot in common and that kept the discussion lively.

Lucky me to have made a new friend:)

 
Luicky you indeed. It is so important for us ladies to continue to make new friends as we go on our

journey through life. Men don't seem to realize that as much.

 
I know it is so hard to describe to friends and family, but we have all known each other for so many

years.... Laughed and cried many times with each other. And shared so many recipes that were important to our individual families.....

I am not surprised that your friendship just took off when you met in person!

I wish I was there! And agree with Karen, making new friends is so important.... I hope you get a chance to get together again!
