ColleenMomofTwo, can I warm up Cheddar-Bacon-Bread Pull-apart with the induction gizmo?

Mmmm Crack Bread! I was going to make it this week for my friend w/ the Island Pork Tenderloin,

but ran out of time; just did a simple garlic bread. But, next week, I will make it for her. Gotta love Crack Bread.

Mar, I do not own an induction gizmo, but am struggling to think that it would work... Can you bake at home then throw in the micro to heat up? It will not be as crunchy, but would still be gooey. Won't the induction just reheat the bottom?

What chili recipe are you making; and once again, I tell you that LM is so lucky to have you!!! : )

Barb, I was thinking of wrapping the bread in foil and using the covered pot that comes

with the induction unit, heat it up...hoping it would act like a mini-oven.

I feeling the love for this less and less.

Haven't tried anything like that. Anyone else have advice, please?

Marilyn,
Aside from cooking, I have only kept soup warm with the induction for serving over time. At the lowest temperature I would worry that the bottom of the bread would brown without transferring enough heat to the top to melt the cheese.

Toaster oven? Bake at home, wrap in foil and towels to transport, then toast/broil sections in the toaster oven to serve? Maybe a co-worker can bring their toaster oven along, too.

Sorry I can't be more help. Please let us know what you end up doing. Colleen

barb, I'm not making any chili. We have 9 guys making different versions. I'm steering clear of

the testosterone zone.
