Cookbook corrections. My cooking group is doing Flour Bakery Too today and I stumbled on a list of

corrections posted on the company website. So glad I did! It makes me wonder, how many other cookbooks do I own that have publicly stated corrections that I knew nothing about.

As for the Flour Bakery, Too cookbook, one error I noticed immediately. The salad dressing called for 16 ounces of candied lemon. I almost called the restaurant to ask about that....

I remember when the first edition of Gourmet cookbook came out, there were several

recipes with omitted steps. At that time, they posted them on line and I added them to my cookbook. The same with the Time-Life books years ago. I think I received a leaflet with the corrections listed. I don't think it's unusual for it to happen.

Agreed it's probably not unusual, but thinking I should get in the practice of looking for them.
