The authors are local and I've been to several book events for them over the past couple weeks. Each party has served up a few dishes from the book and I can attest...each recipe I've tried is a "best in class" variety. You know how one killer recipe is almost worth the cost of the book? So far, I've tried 5 in this book that I could say that about. The salted caramel peanut butter frosting set a new benchmark for me (and I don't even LIKE frosting!). The mac and cheese recipe is hands down, my new favorite comfort food.
