I love that recipe, but the residual effects are, shall we say, really offputting. We fed some to the baby (who loved it and couldn't cram it into his mouth fast enough) and his diaper REEKED this morning.

Now that I've ruined your morning coffee... smileys/smile.gif

I worked in a religious hospital as an EMT for years. They were vegetarians and served ...

...asparagus a lot.

I didn't know about the "effect". I got concerned when I noticed it the first few times and, of course, didn't make the connection to the cafeteria offerings an hour or so before.

I asked two doctors when it was slow in the ER why I had this "condition" and neither one of them knew either! They recommended a UA, which came back normal.

It wasn't until years later I learned what was ailing me!

Today's trivia: If you produce the smell AND can smell it (not everyone does one or

both) then you are related to Babe Ruth.

It's often a big joke for scuba divers...ya know, the ones who are out in the sea for a loooong time

in their wetsuits. They give way thinking that no one notices, but then.........suddenly the fish start following them. The fish remind them that they had asparagus the night before.
