Please share anything you gave or received that you think is a fantastic present for novice to experienced cooks. Colleen

Each of my family goodie boxes included Sam's Club kitchen spoon sets

One each of solid, perforated and slotted 13" spoons which are a hand comfortable, single piece of stainless steel. Easy to clean - no top heavy, dirt collecting plastic handle! I paid $4.88 for each set of 3 and I now have 2 sets! All of my plastic spoons have been recycled (coated pans were retired last December)! Colleen

I gave a garlic grater (from our Judy in Mass), garlic bulbs,

Carrabba's spice mix and a small bottle of extra-virgin olive oil in baskets, and they were LOVED by all who received them.

How about an Italian dinner basket, with as many or as few

items as you wish that require actual cooking... simple would be a bottle of olive oil, red wine vinegar, red wine heheh, a garlic bulb and grater, a jar of sauce, a package of fancy pasta, all with a red-white-green bow and your favorite recipe tied onto a little raffia.

Also did this same idea with Mexican foods - tortillas, salsas, packages

of rice and beans, Kahlua, box of Mexican wedding cookies, etc.

I did a Jamaican one with Grace hot curry powder, jerk paste, dried pigeon peas,

johnny cake mix, coconut milk, jamaican hot sauce, pickapeppa mango sauce and a Bob Marley cd.

My sisters have been sending quick bread mixes

to keep in the fridge and make when all of the holiday goodies are gone. I like the idea of gifting a whole meal to have in reserve. Thank-you, Colleen

I just LOVE mine! Really, NO scraping! Only thing is cleaning the batter off those blades takes>>

a bit longer than the regular blade. Use a small silicone spatula.
