Do some of you subscribe to this? Is it worth it and do you use it? I subscribed to the magazine for years and then got tired of it. I received a subscription for last Christmas though so I'm back with it. I was suprised to go on their site looking for something and find out you had to pay for it.

The recipes for current season are free

You only have to subscribe to access the rest of the site. To view the recipes for current season, do not click on "recipes" near top of their home page. Instead, look to the left and click on recipes in the section titled "Current Season". A list of recipes will come up. Click on any one of them and a page will come up asking you to either check in or to register. Your can register for this section for free. Just use the same e-mail address to check-in the next time you want to visit the site.

When you register, they have a couple of "offers" checked for you. If you do not want them, just uncheck them before submitting registration info.

Now those were deep thoughts! It's just the America's Test Kitchen recipes

that are free for the current season, the magazine has a paid site to access their data. I think that's wrong, I subscribe to the magazine and also order the bound yearly issues and still can't use the recipe site without paying...I think it's between $20/$25 a year. Edited to say that I enjoy the magazine and use a few of their recipes but not many. I just have so many good sources to go to for recipes.

Oops, I hit enter to soon. I subscribed for the testing info

because I did't want another magazine laying around the house. It's 24.95 for a year. I think that is cheaper than getting the magazine.

Thanks everyone, I don't want another magazine in my.......

mailbox either, nor do I want to pay them for information I can get at so many other places online. I realize they don't accept ads and need to make money but still I think they are tedious.
