Corn meal question, probably pretty dumb

I asked a friend going to the store for some yellow corn meal. She brought me a bag of Tenda-Bake yellow self rising corn meal mix. I want to make a cornmeal pound cake that Melissa Clark has in the NYT today. It calls for yellow corn meal and also has 1 teasp baking powder and 1/4 teasp baking soda along with the 1/2 C of corn meal. How do I proceed?

thanks for your help and stay well and safe everyone.

It should be pretty much able to be subbed for the cornmeal. The recipe for

making self rising cornmeal is a cup of cornmeal, 1TBS baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt. Cutting this in half for your 1 cup measure may have a tad more BP.
Hope this helps. I think my math is correct.
