Corn Silk

when we have fresh corn, my kids normally do the peeling before boiling. Problem is they always leave a lot of corn silk. Can anyone recommend a method of effectively removing the corn silk? Or if there is some special gadget out there I'd be interested in that as well.

I have seen special brushes with fine bristles expecially for corn

but I just use a regular vegetable brush. Actually, a paper towel works pretty well too.

Paul, what you are looking for is a "corn desilking brush".

Try Googling that. They cost like 2 bucks.
