Could someone share a TBL of asafoetida spice?

I see it often in Indian dishes, but haven't lucked out finding it in my normal grocery stores. I don't drive to Orlando anymore so I can't get to the Indian grocery store near the university.

And I don't want to buy a whole bottle online if I don't like the stuff. This has turned out to be the case with multiple jars of curry, sad to say.

Anyway...if anyone has enough of this spice to spare a TBL to mail for me to test and see if I like it, I would be most appreciative.
