I took a picture, but don't have it handy. Will post if I remember! I can't remember where I first saw this, but ran across it the other day.
Start with your favorite white cake recipe and add pineapple flavoring, or use pineapple juice instead of some of the liquid for a milder flavor.
Bake as directed, and assemble as follows:
Frost cooled cupcakes (or cake) with strawberry-flavored frosting. Drizzle with chocolcate sauce (or melted chocolate frosting). Top with a dollop of whipped cream, a maraschino cherry, a slice of banana, and crushed walnuts, if desired. Cute, easy, good.
