can point me in the direction of your almond recipe. A number of years ago, you sent me some in a vacuum sealed bag as a way of thanking me for a package I sent you (Celo bags and boxes from a local candy shop). The almonds were really, really good.

I remembered it recently from the post above requesting nut recipes. Was hoping you remember which recipe or the source so I can track it down!

Wish I could, barb. I just wing it. Brined in water, brown sugar, salt, cayenne.

Sometimes rosemary or thyme. Black peppercorns. Then I smoke for a while and toss in the oven to crisp.

Well, that gives me something to go on! I am not a smoker, but my parents smoke on Fathers day.

I may just have to get in on their action. They were truly memorable nuts!
