Dawn Martin recipe for cilantro toast

This lady posted a photo of a concoction for toast made with Irish Butter, cilantro, agave and salt on Ina Garten's Fan Club. It is a private site and can only be used by submitting a request to join, then being accepted. A friend of mine said the recipe was excellent, but I cannot find it. With such a short recipe, I am sure I could replicate something but really would like to have a recipe to start, if there is one out there. Thanks for any assistance.

hmmm, could this be a spoof?

I have a minimally used Facebook account for when folks here want votes for their non-profit garden contests. So I went to the fan page and asked to join. The group has a "gate" in which you have to answer two questions about Ina to prove you are--in fact--a "fan."

The first question was her husband's name. I knew that without looking because, truth be told, I do like her recipes. Unfortunately she tends to seriously over-salt everything, but that may be because she has been using Diamond kosher all this time and I wasn't.

However, the second question was "which herb does Ina hate most?" I had to research that one and it popped up immediately on MASHED. Turns out it's cilantro and she dislikes it because it tastes like soap, a common taste sensation.

So either Dawn Martin's recipe for cilantro toast was a game changer for Ina...or it's a spoof. I'll let you know if/when I get accepted into the facebook Fan club.

Ah...reading Karen's request a little closer, the cilantro toast could just be the posting of a recipe between group users--not necessarily one that Ina would need to like.

You are right, that site only wants posters to comment on Ina's recipes, tweaks they made, and share what they cook from Ina's books. Folks who comment on recipes, not of Ina's are told about it. One person said she did not mind that, but that is not what the Fan Club site is all about. Her regular Facebook page is different. Not sure if I will participate because my cooking is much broader. I do like Ina's recipes, they are never failing. For me, a recipe is simply a guide, and I tweak it to my and my family's taste.

Off topic, but still ina. I like most of her recipes, but a recent kinda fail was her meatballs, which on their own were good. However, her recipe calls for “a good jar sauce, such as Rao’s”. I normally like her food, so did as I was told and frankly I thought the jarred sauce ruined it. I served it to neighbors and none of us though it was very good. Mind you I never met a jarred sauce I liked, but I’d put faith in ina.
