I picked up chicken salad at Publix and it was so salty my eyes watered. So I bought a rotisserie chicken and added 6 oz of breast meat to their 8 oz of salt mine and now it's edible. But boring. So so boring.

Then I remembered Dawn's award winning chicken (or tuna) salad (it works both ways) and thought ah-ha! Found the link but it's not opening for me.

Paul, can you please "open sesame bagel" it for me, if possible. 14 oz of boring chicken salad are depending on you.

My sister makes a scrumptious chicken salad with these ingredients (sorry, we never measure):

Shredded or large dice chicken

Red Grapes

Slivered Almonds

Celery

Mayonnaise

Chicken salad is a staple in our family and "mine" is simple--just white meat chicken (finely chopped), celery (very finely chopped), salt, pepper (good amount of black pepper), Mayo (either Kraft or Duke's) and tarragon. The mayo isn't overdone the salad isn't dry.

Thank you, Paul! and thanks to everyone for all the other versions. I'm not a big chicken salad fan, but when the craving hits...nothing else satisfies.
