The fruit is mushy and everything tastes the same. Glad I only made a few pints. I think I'm going to have to feed it to the disposal.

 
Can you use it for smoothies?

I didn't get around to making the fruit cocktail. I ended up getting too busy making pickled everything, apple everything and pear everything. I tried to search and find the recipe you are talking about, but I couldn't. Which one was it, so I can make sure I don't use it. Do you like sweet pickle relish? I have the best recipe for that. I just opened up another jar, and it is fab. Next year I am going to concentrate on growing cukes and pickling them. We are over halfway though the dills and will run out before it is cuke season again. I would definitely use the lesser salt version of my Mom's. And the ones I added a little red pepper flakes to are really good. Just a little heat.

 
Ball Book with very light syrup. It's the processing that did it. Next year I'll just freeze the

fruit. I'm pretty good on everything except my jalapeno bread and butter pickles. Each year I make more and each year I use more. I'm going to hoard the rest.
