I can't remember the last time I bought fresh shrimp. I buy the bags
of frozen shrimp at Publix when they are on sale in various sizes so I can pull out what ever size of shrimp is appropriate for the recipe. I think it's difficult to get really good fresh shrimp here and I'm in S. Fl. for heavens sake! How can that be possible? The frozen shrimp is always good. It will be perfect for the recipe.
That's what I used. Almost all the shrimp we get here have been
previously frozen. I just chopped them roughly by hand because I was too lazy to go over to the cafe and get mine, and they turned out just fine. You will love this recipe.
The only place I will buy my fish and seafood is at HyVee's
who clearly mark where the fish and seafood are from. I never get the fish or seafood from Asia since Michael/Phoenix posted about what his grocer told him.
