And bless you for including the ingredient/nutrition information. Did you notice that it included "raisin paste"? Who thinks up this stuff?

But yummy cookie! (Of course, I had to taste a piece in order to start the initial investigative process.)

I'm still trying to figure out how to get my hands on some street cool diglycerides.

Sister has confirmed the cookies they like are bought from the bakery, so I think I'll focus on that recipe first.

I hate to throw a wrench in things, but I found another type of packaged cookie made...

by Wegmans in the cookie aisle. No idea what that one is, since I didn't buy it.

I wonder if Wegmans would give you the recipe for the "frozen dough project" if you asked.

Anyone out there have any pull with Wegmans??!

 
Hold onto that there wrench, missy! My thighs & HDL/LDL ratios can't handle more options just yet...

Being the cook that I am, I must test a recipe at all stages JUST TO BE SURE I haven't mixed up ingredients, say the sugar with salt. This goes so far as to include spreading chocolate or ice cream between the samples JUST TO BE SURE the taste has not been compromised.

Right now, I've eaten enough oatmeal cookies that the old Quaker guy on the canister is starting to look good.
