Delicious grilled tuna last night, thanks to Richard in Cincy. Used part of his recipe...

His recipe for the tuna marinade calls for:

1 tsp. each: sesame oil and wasabe powder

1 tbl. each: grated ginger, chopped garlic

2 tbl. each: sake, low sodium soy sauce, rice wine vinegar

My only tweak was out of necessity. I subbed Chinese rice wine for the sake, since I had none.

I marinated a 14 oz chunk of yellow tail for about an hour and a half. Grilled it until it was nicely colored on the outside and red inside, as is my custom.

Very, very tasty!

Thanks Richard,

Michael

DW and kids were in San Diego. I was craving grilled tuna, so I went for it.

One son would probably enjoy it. The other won't eat fish to save his life.

DW would love it.

Michael
