I have a laundrymat in TX, and I have a book and magazine exchange there. I have 2 places in Okie City that have them, and 1 library in a suburb of Okie City that gives away it's magazines every month. So I trade. "The Cereal Murders" by Davidson wound up in my laundry. This woman taught herself to cook, plus attended cooking classes, and she puts her own GREAT recipes in her murder mysterys. I can't wait to try them. She has test cooks to help her with the recipes before publishing. Now I have to read all her books.

Sounds like great book club material -- read the book, make the recipes for a meeting! Thanks for

posting this info! I love the way you introduced her, by the way.

I have read all of her books and also tried many of the recipes in the books>>>

almost of all them have turned out well.

Are you familiar with PaperBackSwap.com? You can list books you would like to swap and pick up books you want to read. I have a couple of Diane Mott Davidson books listed for swapping and have some more that I need to list. I have also gotten a few cookbooks from the swap. It's a nice way to get rid of books that you no longer want and find ones you like.

Thanks, I'll

post that site in my laundry, which I may be selling sometime next year. I just went to work for a motorcycle magazine. I will surely check it out. I want to read all of her books though. I love her recipes, and the punny titles. I also love mysteries snf biographies when I have time to read.

I finished the last one during breaks while on jury duty.

As soon as I finish one I send it on to my MIL, who also loves the series.

If you wish to donate books, your local cancer center or radiation center is a good place. lots of

waiting time in both of those places. Puzzles and DVDs are also welcome donations. Most chemo centers now have personal DVD players for use when the treatment can take hours.
