Did anyone catch Giada de Laurentis show on Food Network last week with her Aunt Raffy

I enjoy Raffy too,she is beautiful, stylish, and fun. Here is my take on the show.
Giada and Raffy seem to have a love, sometimes I like you and sometimes I don't relationship. On last weeks show, Raffy seemed especially testy with Giada and I observed that Giada was doing her best to continue to smile and keep away tears, or possibly anger. In comes Giada's sister, she and Raffy seem to be very loving towards each other. At one point Giada mentions something and Raffy turns to sister and says, "What Now?" Giada seemed a bit hurt by this and the camera switched to a side view of Giada's face.
OK, OK so I am an observer of people and I pick things up...did anyone else catch any of this? Might this be a way to entertain the television audience, I actually felt bad for Giada during that show because I did feel she was hurt by some of Raffy's behavior. They argue a lot about the correct method to prepare old family recipes. Giada wants her twists and Raffy wants it done, as she puts it..."the right way." That was the case last week, when Giada made an Italian meatloaf with a red sauce and Giada made one cooked in milk. The sister came in to taste test them both.

I am not sure how much of it all is staged....
... I think it is clear that the audience loves Raffy and FoodTV is not ignoring that. To which extent they stage the contrast between Raffy's natural cooking approach and Giada's, and their "friendly" rivalry.
I remember catching some so-so remarks coming from Giada's sister about Raffy years ago - so I guess Raffy has a naturally strong personality and might ruffle feathers of several members of the family smileys/wink.gif

Karen and SallyBR, Here is a video of Giada and Raffy.....when you watch the video take note of the
section where Giada passes her the sauce to be used on the show and she makes a statement that she can "b...." about that.
