did anyone else order from the Spice House a few weeks ago? I still haven't received my package

and when I track it, it says it left Elk Grove on 5/4, but no info since then. just wondered if others were late. this is unusual for them

 
I'd give them a call to find out, they must have an 800 number

they have ways of checking on packages. I've had this happen before and it was an accident with the delivery truck. My package ended up in the river!

 
Last time I got an email when they did free shipping and said to bear with them because they

were inundated with orders & apologized for the delay. I got my order shortly after the email.

 
thanks Melissa. my first order from them was so prompt, with free shipping. when I track it, it's

out of Elk Grove, which to me means it's in the USPO system, which usually is the best way to get things to us in AK, and it was priority mail. UPS is the one that's pokey. It just disappeared. small shipment too.

 
so, I emailed them and got a reply today. they have my loyalty. they could not track my order past

Elk Grove either, so they shipped a brand new shipment today. Nice prompt response. I thanked them for this and for including Alaska in their free shipping promotions.

 
Univ of FL told me my summer loans weren't valid because I was taking courses at Univ of New Mexico.

And "New Mexico" is in a foreign country.

 
you wouldn't believe how many companies have no idea that "contiguous" and "continental" are 2 very

different things. They will have a shipping policy that says "free to the Continental US" and exclude Alaska and Hawaii. well, last time I looked, Alaska was still attached to the North American Continent, so we are part of Continental US. sorry Hawaii. Alaska is not contiguous and I have no argument with companies that use that term correctly. I just don't order from them. I actually take the time to complain about this to dumb companies who use the Continental blah blah blah deal. sometimes they don't even state that AK is exempt, so you go in to order and come time for shipping you get charged, and you go back and read the terms and all it says is continental and then I shoot them a complaint. it's a pet peeve of mine. can you tell?
