Dinner a couple of nights ago: Cider-Curry Braised Chicken Thighs

I've been using Trader Joes frozen chicken thighs but does anyone else find

that there are bits of fat hidden between the meat muscles. It's tedious to pick out the bits which are really unpleasant to eat as they are buried in the meat and don't really render away. Lately I tend to go for drumsticks which are not fatty even though you have to cope with the tendons.

This is not a Trader Joe's specific problem but the way

the thigh is boned. Plus they leave the fat on to increase the weight. I find this in all boneless thighs and I use a very sharp pair of food scissors to take all the fat off anything that has it.
