Dinner tonight-Chiffonade sauteed brussel sprouts and one-pot cottage cheese noodles

Both were o.k. but nothing to write home about. The sprouts were beautiful but I really prefer them steamed. I don't know how I thought the cottage cheese noodles would be but I didn't expect the cheese to all dissolve. I'm determined to try something different with each meal this week though. Need to get out of the rut. Tomorrow, the yogurt-aleppo chicken.

Also, with today's passing of Pernell Roberts- the last survivor, a little toast to all the Bonanza boys whom I so enjoyed watching in my childhood.

 
I like steamed Brussel sprouts too - roasted are just too tough, unless I'm doing

something wrong.
