seemed to enjoy it. Thank you all for helping with the menu. Joe I made the pork tenderloin medallions and some chicken with the same apple cider sauce (for anyone who didn't want pork). Got lots of compliments on both and many mentioned how tender the pork was. And, the Julia child pastry cream was perfect! It held the pears up so nicely, those little pears are just too cute. Michael in Sarasota, thanks for the hint to use hard cider, I did and it was delicious. This was probably one of the best dinners I have ever made.

(Don't know if this is weird or not but I like to check out the plates when folks are done to see what wasn't liked, plates were clean!)

There's nothing weird about checking the plates as long as you refrain from:

1) Charging back into the dining room grilling the guests about why they didn't eat something like an Italian grandmother, and

2) Finishing the plates yourself

(I've been guilty of both on occasion, depending on how hard I worked on the food and how much wine I had with it.)

I'm am so glad the evening went well and that you tried the pork recipe! Congratulations

Oh how fun! What did you end up deciding to do for the sides? You should put in menu section.

Barbara, not wierd at all.

When we went to the Food Truck expo a few weeks ago I checked the garbage cans near each truck we wanted to visit. If there was food in there we kept on moving smileys/smile.gif
