Do I need to refrigerate cupcakes with a ganache frosting?

My DS made the ones in this month's Food and Wine. She said they're really
pretty and it's the first time she's ever had exactly enough batter for 12 and exactly enough icing for 12. She said the icing has firmed up and she thinks she'll leave it out for tomorrow. It's not 90° in her house but it's not 45° either.

Ina Garten made these Chocolate Ganache Cupcakes and the recipe says to Not refrigerate, but
it doesn't state how far ahead they can be made. So, this might be of little help.
