Do I use fresh garlic the same way as my usual supermarket garlic? T

do you mean fresh from the garden? It tastes pretty much the same, but can mold sooner since it's

moister than the dry bulbs in the store. at least that's what i have found.

Thanks Ang, yes, I mean't fresh from the garden. A friend brought me some from the Farmers Market.

Does it have stalks on it? I like it when I find it like that... no, you just

use the bottom (bulb) part, same as you do with store-bought. I also like to buy braided ones. One year I went around trying to find them and realized that I never would use that much garlic in my lifetime anyway! ;o)

What part of NC are you in, Janet? I hear you're getting a lot of rain there these days.

Thanks for the info Dawn, I'm in Raleigh. We've had quite a bit of rain but every now and then we

have a few sunny days or at least partly sunny and good enough for the pool.
