Do we have a thread on 2015 gift baskets / hostess gifts?

I was thinking of this... Rec: Monkey Butter

BUT, I can't find "ground coconut" in any of our stores. Amazon has coconut shredded and coconut powder. Thoughts? Can I process flaked coconut in the food processor to make it "ground?"

P.S... dh is not a fan of the texture of coconut... So flaked would not work for us.

I recently went to an upscale home boutique here in town and discovered these

amazing dish towels. They are so well made, but expensive. Amazon has them for an amazing price right now, and I just purchased four. more. They look great in your kitchen, dry beautifully and come out of the dryer just fine. I give them a good shake, fold carefully and put into my towel drawer.
People love them, and say they make them feel special when using them. In France, many hang them on a wall as a piece of art, or drape them over a small table The colors are outstanding.
I also like to go to a boutique which carries products made in our area. We have so many creative artists. One special item is Jalapeno Peanut Brittle, I always include that in my baskets too. A nice jar of locally made olive oil or a local honey or vinegar are welcomed, as well

Oh, LOVE these French towels. Got some to use for picnic baskets. Beautiful in traditional

French scenics.

The first one I bought here in town in the boutique I mentioned. But they were

$37. She had them on sale for 15% off so I only bought one. I am wondering if Amazon will have them at an even more reduced price after the first of the year, or if they will go back to the higher prices. The colors are so outstanding. My first one is a lavender with a few other colors. It has a 12 month French calendar. So pretty.
