Do you guys find that there's one person whose recipes just always seem to appeal to...

your personal tastes? I've tried recipes from just about everyone on this board and enjoyed nearly every one of them, but there is one particular person whose recipes just jive almost perfectly with my personal preferences. Sometimes I find a recipe that looks great, it's just what I've been looking for, or sounds right up my alley, and more often than not, it's from...

Pat-NoCal.

Thanks Pat! You're my hero.)

Wow, you're kidding. Really? I'm blushing big-time. Thanks, Mimi, you've made my day. I've

been cooking from the swap for so many years and have so many great recipes from all of you. There are many many cookbooks in my library but honestly, I keep coming back to the ones you all provide here in our recipe swap community. Such a terrific resource this place is.

Thanks again Mimi, for all you do to make this a great place to share recipes and cooking information.

I'm not sure I have tried recipes posted by everyone but I know that >>>

I have loved every recipe I have tried that has been posted by DawnNYS.
Heck, I could have made a family favourite cook book from all the recipes I have printed out from her! smileys/smile.gif

Uh that didn't come out right! I mean a lot of my favorites from here are posted by YOU, too! ;o)

I started to list some favorites, but my list was just too long and I couldn't dare leave some out.

There is just so much goodness found with the foodies at this site. I appreciate you all. My stacks of copied recipes keep getting higher and my word files bigger. I would need 2 more lifetimes to try all the wonderful recipes. A big thanks to Joe though for his help with my Julia questions. and to GayR for her fine detective work. and, well, I better stop now.

One of my New Year resolutions was to organize, cull, and otherwise...

...disinfect my recipe collection.

I have recipes I printed out on my first color inkjet waaay back in 1995. I have stacks of recipe cards, torn out magazine articles, commercial give-away recipe books, etc., etc., etc. (doing my best Yul Brynner). Multiple stacks of recipes printed from Gail's. You all know what I mean.

I hope to start a family cookbook that can be passed down to my kids and added to by them as they cook for their families.

I did confirm what I have said I believe to be true about this forum (and epi, may it RIP): I am a much better cook since 1995 than I was in the 25 years previous to that. The talent here is amazing, and I, too, appreciate all of you.

Thank you for an explosion of cooking in my life.

Michael

Not to take anything away from all the contributers here, but so often Cathy Z's posts

seem to have been written just for me. Her wealth of knowledge is amazing and her recipe files are staggering!

I don't post often but I'm here several times a day and gotta say I agree with Michael.

I love this place(thank you Mimi!)I've taken so many recipes from here that were keepers! And I really try to keep contreibuting names with rec. Betw. C.I. and this place, I have found so many great recipes( and advice)! Thanks to you all. Steph
