Does anyone have a 4.5 Qt Kitchen Aid FLEX Edge beater? I need a visual comparison.

I've used one of these forever. Sadly mine snapped in the midst of the Great 2018 Christmas Cookie Bacchanalia so I ordered another one from Amazon, it came, and life was good again.

Then a few weeks ago I got an email from Amazon saying they were refunding my money for the FLEX Edge beater because it turns out it's a Chinese forgery and Amazon won't stand for that sort of thing, thank you very much.

I went to my local Belk's, bought one with the exact same KA packaging, washed and tossed it into the bowl of my mixer.

Only....

The "faux" version was in there as well and now I don't know which is which. They are identical, as in "Parent Trap" identical. I've looked closely and there is ONE TINY DIFFERENCE. On one of them, on the side away from the slot opening is the number 26. It's embossed on the side of the insertion stem.

I looked at the images on Amazon and don't see that number, but then this is where I've bought both of them and the second time it was fake. So now I'm not sure what to believe.

Thank you.

I have one that I bought a bunch of years ago

probably at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

I has a raised number where you say yours has a 26. My number could be either 11 or 17. It's small enough that it is very had to distinguish which it is.

I hope that helps.

Mine has a Number 9, Number Nine, Number 9. Must be a smaller machine.

Tough on an old lady's eyes so early.

What is "number Nine" from. Beatles?

like the Cuisinart blade attachment that apparently spewed bits that could be ingested.

The old DLC7. I got the replacement and I HOPE I threw out the old one.
