Does anyone have a good egg dish for a guest breakfast?

Friends are coming this weekend and I'd like to do something egg-based for breakfast. (But not too time-consuming.) I did something with croissants a few years ago--maybe I should look for that.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I second this one (Tx again Maria). It looks so pretty and very forgiving. My latest brunch rec

I'vs made it twice. It looks so pretty; I added minced garlic and a lil hot sauce.

YUM!

This was one of the first overnight breakfast dishes that I made and I love it

One time when family members came to visit I made it, someone announced "this is too rich, I can't eat it!" I was deflated and have not made it since. Must do it again for the two of us. My hubby liked it too.

Aww, don't let that comment keep you from the yumminess of this. I've thought of

making a half recipe of it, since there is no way we can eat all of it unless we have company.

I once had a similar response from my sister's sister-in-law but a bit more extreme

I had made a chocolate fudge cake for a family gather that everyone seemed to like. I was in the kitchen with the sister-in-law (and others) when she took the bite of the cake, spit it out and said "Too rich" and proceed to dump it in the waste basket. Such lovely manners....

Holy cow! That is very over-the-top...I wonder sometimes if it ever crosses

people's minds how they appear to others, when they do things like that.

Wow! I'm stunned! That could only be acceptable if she was deathly allergic to the food.

Wow. Again...I'm pretty much stumped on any other reaction.
