Does anyone have a good store-bought vegetable broth they can recommend? All the ones I've tried

have been either too bland or too salty or both. I always use Swanson reduced-sodium chicken broth in my vegetarian recipes, which obviously defeats the purpose. I want to be able to keep them 100% vegetarian if I so desire. I've tried lots of different vegetable broths from the health food store, and they have been utterly tasteless, and/or loaded with sodium. I've considered trying Swanson's vegetable broth, but there's weird stuff in there, so I've decided against it, plus it's not low sodium - their chicken broth doesn't have too much junk in it - it's innocent in comparison. Anyone have any recommendations?

I just used Wolfgang Puck reduced sodium beef and I've tried chicken. Both are pretty good for

store bought. They also carry vegetable- give it a shot. I'ts even cheaper than some of the other and not entirely composed of chemicals!

Does Superstore in the US have the same products as in Canada? The PC Organics brand is really nice>

the organics chicken broth is really good too - it actually smells & tastes like chicken! smileys/wink.gif

I find they're not as salty as other brands I've tried.

I use Imagine Organic Low Sodium Vegetable Broth. Great flavor and comes in a carton so you can

refrigerate what you don't need for another time. Beware of supermarket broths labeled "lower" or "less" sodium. Swanson organic veggie broth with less sodium has 550mg sodium per cup, and their organic chicken broth with less sodium has the same. Imagine organic low sodium veggie broth has 140mg sodium per cup, while their low sodium chicken broth has 95mg per cup. It lets YOU control the salt! When cooking, if you let the veggie broth reduce a little bit, it is goes from quite tasty to divine. Hope this helps.

Thanks, michelle, unfortunately I've never seen this brand in the U.S. I've heard they make great

products.
