Does anyone have a recipe for a garlic pretzel dip,

that uses Miracle Whip, cream cheese, garlic and some certain packet of chicken boullion (I thought it was called George Washington Golden Seasoning, but in searching I have come up with nada)? I know it sounds gross, but I had to taste this before my stepdaughter would tell me what was in it. It was very good with pretzels and I would have never guessed what was in the recipe. Any help would be appreciated. She said her mom has to mail her this specific brand of chicken boullion packets from the Dallas area, I assume. Thanks!

Wow, thanks! I know it sounds like a weird combination, and I don't

usually care for Miracle Whip, but this was really good.

Here's one to work with rec: Garlic Curry Aoli

Garlic Curry Aioli:
1/4 cup light mayo or miracle whip
2 small (or 1 large) garlic clove, mashed to a paste with salt, or use garlic powder
Juice from 1/2 lemon
Dash of black pepper
1 tsp curry power, or more to taste
1 dash cayenne pepper
Sea salt to taste

Directions:
If using fresh garlic, mash garlic into a fine paste with the side of a knife on a cutting board, using salt as an abrasive. Mix all ingredients together, serve with fries.

I also found some recipes that used roasted garlic; which sounded like a nice twist. Also found one

that used milk with the miracle whip. Some had olive oil, but that did not seem to fit the bill. Sorry, I did do quite a bit of searches, including checking my cookbooks. Hope you can replicate it, sounds like you really enjoyed it!

not your garlic dip, but our favorite for pretzels is pub cheez with horseradish.

I take Merkt's cheese in a tub and add 4 oz of cream cheese to it and a generous tablespoon of horseradish. mix it all together and it makes a great spread for crackers or pretzels or to stuff celery. It pairs really well with spiced nuts on an appetizer table.

Thanks everyone. I am just going to break down and ask my step-daughter for the recipe.

She was going on about how it was a family recipe(as in her mom's family)so I didn't really want to ask her for it, but it was so good that I am going to. I would like to make it for the teachers. I will give a couple of these a try too.
I will post it, if she says it is okay. I know it sounds unappetizing with the Miracle Whip in there, but it added just the right amount of tartness and sweetness to the dip. Thanks for searching.

I asked her for it and she happily gave it to me. REC: Garlic Pretzel Dip

1/2 cup Miracle Whip
8 oz cream cheese

Mix all ingredients and chill at least 12 hours. Serve with pretzels.

Try it if you dare!
