REC: Asian Lamb Ribs
Hi Sarah, I haven't made these is years cuz I can't find lamb ribs, but we used to love them.
Asian Lamb Ribs or Chicken
6 tablespoons soy sauce
10 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons sherry
1/2 teaspoon 5 spice powder
2 slabs lamb ribs or 1 cut up chicken
Mix all ingredients together. Brush both sides of ribs generously. Place the ribs on a rack over water. Bake about 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool about 20 minutes. slice the ribs. Brush with the remaining sauce very generously. Return to oven 15 minutes at 450 degrees.
OR
First, bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees and then place on the grill about 5-10 minutes each side.
OR
For CHICKEN;
Brush on the chicken, both sides. Cook in the microwave for 6 minutes, then finish on the grill, brushing with the sauce frequently.
