Does anyone have a substitution for Accent in a dressing.

I'm making Fumi Salad and it calls for Accent. I really don't like using it and wondered if anyone had a sub that they use. Thanks

 
I would just leave it out. It doesn't have a flavor of it's own. MSG is supposed to enhance other

flavors by stimulating the taste buds. If your other ingredients are fresh and flavorful it should not be necessary.

 
You could maybe add about a teaspoon or so of soy sauce.

That would replace the umami that the Accent would have added. It shouldn't alter the flavor much. I add soy sauce a lot to things, just a little so that you can't taste it.
