Whole Wheat Cranberry Nut Bread
A friend made this for dinner the other night and gave me the recipe sans directions. She said, "Just dump it into your bread machine."
Whole Wheat Cranberry-Nut Bread
1½ cups water-room temperature
2 Tblsp. butter or margarine, softened
1 cup bread flour
4 cups whole wheat flour (I used 2 c. ea of white whole wheat and reg. whole wheat flour)
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2¼ tsp. active dry yeast
Mix-ins:
2/3 cup chopped walnuts
¾ cup dried cranberries
Makes one large loaf.
