Does anyone have a W-S commercial-quality half-sheet pan? CI recommends Lincoln, but the

I went to my restaurant supply store last year to purchase a Lincoln pan, after reading about it in

CI. The store said they had the Lincoln pan, but when I saw it, it was marked Wear Ever on the bottom. They said that Wear Ever made Lincoln, or vice-versa, and it was a Lincoln pan. It's a nice, heavy pan, but it still warped.

I read the same thing in reviews of the product. Lincoln makes Wearever, but the pan

recommended by CI is their professional line, not wearever. Some reviewers said they ordered lincoln, but got one that said Wearever and it warped.

I found this on google:

http://www.tigerchef.com/p-baking-sheets/ALXP-1800/ALXP-1800.html?gclid=CJzhtP3ctpgCFR0SagodRT-0bA

The pans are given a shipping weight of three pounds, and this is the same weight as the half-sheet pans we use at work.

I think at the price they would be worth a try.

Some years ago I purchased half-sheet pans at Costco (then Price Club). Don't know what brand they were, but they have not warped on me yet.

I have noticed that the new half-sheets we got in at work this year are lighter than the old ones. No matter what the weight, you might want to pick pans that weight the heaviest.

I also bought mine at Costco years ago. Ilike them so much that when remodeling our kitchen>>>>

I took the pan with me when oven shopping. I didn't want an oven that couldn't fit my favorite pans. ditto with sink size.
My husband thought I was nuts, bringing the pan with me in a big brown bag. But now he realizes how smart I was (am?) Or at least that's what I tell myself! LOL!

I read on line that the reason some are unhappy with the Lincoln is that there are two different

gauges. One 13 and the other 16. The 13 is the best. I didn't see any at Costco but will check Sam's Club, as I see some have gotten them there and liked them. Dh has a little do-hinky that he can use to check the gauge.
