Does anyone have any tip on how to tell when goat cheese isn't good anymore? There is no expiration

date on the Montchevre goat cheese I buy. When I open a package I don't use it all, then don't use anymore for 2-3 weeks and wonder if I'm safe.

I'm sure it wouldn't taste good, but I'd hate to plan for a recipe and then find my goat cheese bad.

any tips from your experience?

 
I've used mine after more than a month - I think it gets

moldy when it is not good. I guess, though, it depends on the brand and how much salt it has in it. Taste a piece first, and you should be able to tell - I'd say it was fine.
